Where the links go.
Some pages here point at things to buy: harnesses, lines, bowls. The links to them are affiliate links. We earn from both Amazon and eBay links.
On the UK gear page, the "Check price on Amazon" buttons are affiliate links through Amazon Associates. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Every link to eBay on this site, on eBay UK and eBay Germany, is an affiliate link through the eBay Partner Network. If you follow one and buy something, we earn a small commission.
Affiliate links never change what we recommend, and they cost you nothing: you pay the same price as you would going to the shop yourself. Anything we earn goes on the dogs: food, the vet, and the odd new harness after the old one meets a fence. It is how the site stays free of adverts and tracking.
What we promise
- "Winter wears this" means Winter wears this. We only say the dogs use something when they do. Everything else is marked as an idea.
- The links never pick the gear. An item is here because it is the kind of thing we would use. Whether a shop pays us for the link does not come into it.
- Nobody sends us things. No gifted gear, no sponsored posts, no brand deals. If that ever changes, it will say so on the item.
- The photos come first. Links sit under the photos, never the other way round.
- No tracking here. This site has no analytics and sets no cookies. When you follow a link to Amazon or eBay you leave this site, and that shop's own privacy notice applies from there.
Prices and photos from eBay
Where a card shows a price and a photo marked "On eBay", they are eBay's: one current listing for the item, new and Buy It Now only, read from eBay several times a day. The time beside the price says when it was read, and both disappear six hours after that. The photo is shown straight from eBay's image server; we keep no copy. The price can change after it was read, and the listing is the seller's, under eBay's terms and eBay's buyer protection. Without a current listing the eBay button opens a search on eBay UK or eBay Germany instead. We do not show Amazon prices: the Amazon button opens Amazon, and the price is the one Amazon shows you there.
